Our Partnership with Glory Baby Ministry
Glory Baby Ministry is a Bowling Green, Kentucky-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing comfort, support, and remembrance to families experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant loss. What began from one family’s unimaginable loss has grown into a ministry reaching grieving families around the world with tangible reminders that their babies are loved, remembered, and forever a part of their stories.
At Galentine’s Gala, Co., we believe some of the most meaningful work begins when personal heartbreak is transformed into purpose. That is exactly what Josh and Jessica Heffinger have done through Glory Baby Ministry, and we are honored to support their mission through our newest event, Ladies for Little Lives.
Their Story
Glory Baby Ministry was founded by Josh and Jessica Heffinger, whose journey began with the loss of their first daughter, Riley Marie.
Josh and Jessica married in 2009 and soon began dreaming of starting a family. In 2010, they learned they were expecting their first child—a little girl they named Riley Marie. At their 21-week anatomy scan, they received the devastating news that Riley no longer had a heartbeat.
Riley Marie was born sleeping on December 3, 2010, weighing 1 pound, 2 ounces and measuring 10 inches long. Testing later revealed a blood clot in her umbilical cord as well as a blood-clotting condition Jessica had previously been unaware of.
In the years that followed, Josh and Jessica experienced two additional early miscarriages and welcomed four healthy daughters. Through every season, Riley remained an important part of their family. When asked how many children they have, they say five girls.
Rather than allowing Riley's story to end with her passing, Josh and Jessica allowed her life to inspire something much larger. In February 2017, they founded Glory Baby Ministry in her memory—creating a place where other grieving families could receive the compassion, resources, and support they wished every family had during such a devastating loss.

At the heart of Glory Baby Ministry is a simple but powerful mission: to bring comfort to families grieving the loss of a baby.
The ministry creates and provides burial and memorial packages for families experiencing losses ranging from early miscarriage through stillbirth and infant loss. Packages are available beginning at four weeks gestation and extend through infant losses up to 12 pounds. These packages are provided to grieving families at no cost and can be requested whether a loss happened recently or many years ago. Glory Baby Ministry ships packages worldwide.
For a family walking through loss, these are far more than packages. They provide tangible pieces of remembrance during a time when families are often trying to process the unimaginable. Through burial garments, memorial items, resources, and compassionate support, Glory Baby Ministry gives families an opportunity to honor the life of their baby and preserve precious memories.
What Glory Baby Ministry Does
Glory Baby Ministry understands that grief does not end when a family leaves the hospital.
Their work extends into ongoing community and peer support for both mothers and fathers navigating pregnancy and infant loss.
Healing Sisters provides a safe, judgment-free community for women—and the women supporting them—in the Bowling Green area who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant loss. The group was created so grieving mothers could connect with others who genuinely understand this unique kind of grief. It is peer support rather than professional counseling, built around listening, connection, understanding, and simply being present for one another.
Glory Baby Ministry also recognizes that fathers grieve deeply and often differently. Bereaved Brothers (BROS) was created specifically for men who have experienced the loss of a baby. The group gathers locally throughout the year for connection and support through activities and meetups, giving fathers a space to build relationships with other men who understand what they are carrying.
The ministry also connects families with additional resources related to pregnancy and infant loss, including remembrance photography, memorial resources, counseling resources, and other organizations serving grieving families.
